Give me your opinion.

Is attraction key when dating someone? If they are a good person, but you are not attracted to them, is it shallow and wrong not to date them?

I don’t do well with meeting new people in person. Like if you see a hot person, how do you go from staring at them in the milk aisle to going on a date? And how in the world would I be able to go on a date anyway?

Perhaps some of the reason that Geo and I have been on and off again for so long is that he was there. I knew him. The sex was good. He would help out around the house. But we never were right. And I haven’t figured out why. When we first met, we were like the most perfect thing I ever had imagined. But then it wasn’t. And I want it to be, still. I do.

He never took off work. We never took a vacation. He said he couldn’t. So when his friend called at the beginning of the week and asked if he could go to FRANCE at the end of the week, I was sure that he would say, “No way.”

Did I mention he is en route to FRANCE right now?

Yeah, so I’m thinking it is not going to work out with us.

I met my ex-husband because we worked together but since then, every person I’ve dated I met online. In fact, I met both Geo and Little Blond Girl on Yahoo personals.

But when you read Craigslist or something, every guy wants “No Baggage” which is kind of mean, because I’m a nice girl. I’m pretty cute and I can make a mean French Toast.

Sometimes I do find someone to talk to, like my long time friend Jimmy. We’ve known each other since MOS school, which was in 99. We haven’t seen each other since 2000, but we’ve emailed consistently since then.

But whether I’m flirting with Jimmy or some other guy, it seems that they always ask the question:

“So, what are you up to tonight?”

And if I want to be honest, the answer is:

“Cleaning up the tub after Bubba pooped all over it.”

I’m bringing sexy back. Seriously.
