Whew and Whoa!
Whoa! I’m finally on high speed internet! I feel so hip now. I mean, going from dialup to 2 MEG is pretty darn exciting. I can actually, like, check my email in less than 10 minutes. And maybe watch a video on YouTube or something. I am a happening woman now.
So, whew. It is has been a roller coaster of a few weeks. First, I closed on my house and I was so proud. There is truly something amazing about owning your own house. And really, if you are interested in home ownership but think you can’t, I would encourage you to look at some options. Because seriously, if I can do it, then chances are you might be able to do it too. There are a lot of programs out there.
The house is finally coming together. I had motivation because my mom came to visit yesterday. There is still some stuff to put away but a lot of it is clean.
And I decided to do my basement in a Broadway theme. I’ve already painted my Wicked bathroom..in black, green and pink. I’m doing a Legally Blonde kitchen next. The top two floors of the house are all classic historical rooms, so down here I’m getting a little funky.
Losing the girls has been hard, very hard. I don’t know what else I can say besides that right now. I’m not ready to say anything more yet. It is too painful.
Well, I’ve got to get off here and get some work done. I still have a few of your packages to mail out, and I’m hoping to do that today if I can just figure out what box your stuff was packed in! Moving stinks. I’ve already decided not to move again until I die. And then someone else can move my stuff.

Congrats on the house. I am so sorry to hear about the girls. I can not imagine how hard that decision must be. You know that it is the right thing to do for the safety of the others, but still. . . It cannot be easy.
thoughts and fairy dust sent your way.

Okay, that Broadway basement sounds AWESOME. Can you post pictures when it’s done?
I’m sorry about the girls. Sounds like an extremely difficult decision.
