I am supposed to move in two weeks. My mortgage is held up because of an appraisal issue and I am not sure it can be fixed.
The girl who has been helping me, who I adore, quit today.
I think they are moving Meredith and Elle. I am very fond of Meredith but I am head over heels in love with Elle.
My heart hurts.

Oh the stress.
I will never understand why — if children are doing well in a home — they move them to another. It makes me think of a child’s profile I read once. This little girl had been living in a home with a lesbian couple and doing wonderfully — making progress, slowly healing, etc. To “prep” her for adoption and to test how she would do in other family environments, they moved her. No surprise, the girl had a terrible time. Uh. Yeah. Rip her from a happy home, why don’t you?
I hope the girls stay with you. If they’re doing well, why move them?
