The price of quality entertainment

$75 for orchestra seats.

Ugh.

Tickets go on sale in 8 minutes. Think the five of us will be heading up to the balcony!!

Of course, balcony seats are WAYYYYY better than no seats at all.

(Also, I painted my fingernails glittery Cubbie blue. Do you think this will make them go to the playoffs? I want so badly to go see a Cubs game during the playoffs. Also, today sucks and I think I’m losing my mind. Hmm. Do you think my toenails need to be blue as well for them to win?)

Off to buy tickets.

**Edited to add..got 1st row, center, of the lower balcony. Great seats, and was able to ge them for under $300. (Thanks Geo!) I love green babies!

**Edited to add again…over on my review blog, the author of Money for Nothing responded to my post. Go say hi to him :)

Tell them how Iiiiii am defyiinnnggg gravityyyyy….

Hey. I did a long long long blog entry about foster care and what rights in regards to mail I think they should have… It’s a good read. I wrote it after reading something from your dad, and was wondering if you would let him know there’s a follow up post about it?

Uh, dude, I don’t know if your fingernails will help the Cubs. After all, my dad got an actual TATTOO of the White Sox slogan tattooed onto his arm in hopes of the White Sox starting to win… and they started losing instead. You may need to do something more drastic. Maybe you should paint a giant red C on your roof?

I’m rooting for the Cubs but my husband keeps telling me I’m delusional.

Even worse, all my baseball loving friends are Yankee fans.
