We are going to an adoption info meeting next month but in reading the material sent to us, other countries such as Thailand and Korea already have conditions on the weight of the parents. Also, Russia and Kahsakstan will not allow parents with depression in their background to adopt. It's getting tougher and tougher to adopt internationally. It's also about 2 to 3 times more expensive.

Bogglingly annoying. I did that BMI thingie, at 5foot 6 like I am, I'd have to gain over 100 lbs to weigh 250 lbs to no longer qualify. China has said it doesn't want extremely obese parents, not fit parents. And look nice? Dang, that would cut a lot of us out wouldn't it. Nope, you can be shit ugly and still adopt from China. Where would we be without the accuracy and fairmindedness of CNN reporting?

It use to be only the TV News shows like Inside Edition would sensationalize something like this. It's a sick look at what news has become and it's the opposite of newsworthy.
