Holidailies #23..Santa problems
No time to write a real post today. Just got back from four stores (all the stores in town) and about broke my back trying to load a bike in the back of my van. And of course, people stopped to make comments, “Looks like someone is getting a bike for Christmas!!” but didn’t offer to stop my cart from rolling across town.
At our house Santa wraps presents in special Santa wrapping paper. I think that while unpacking, Bug saw the Santa paper. Geo said it was OK, but I got nervous and I unwrapped all the Santa presents I had wrapped and am rewrapping them. Ugh. I’m an idiot.

I’d be doing the same thing. I love that idea, btw. Special paper… I’ll have to remember that for next year. (Yes. NEXT year, damn it!)

You crack me up! Rewrapping everything!! At my house, anything from Santa was NOT wrapped at all, in fact wasn’t even in store packaging… ie if it was a train set, it would be set up in front of the tree in the morning when we woke up. No boxes. And he ate all the cookies and milk we left for him. Stuff from mom and dad was wrapped, cuz of course it was BOUGHT at the store, not MADE BY ELVES! LOL! Have a great christmas. I’m off to artsyboy’s parents’ with his kids.

Your Santa Wrapping paper idea is great. I’ve alternate between what you’ve done and what cluttergirl suggests for years. Right now, the electronic stuff is charging, and I’m attempting to get some of it out of those #$%^#$% clamshells that frustrate the unwrapping.
Have a wonderful Christmas Bug and Baggage! I’ll be thinking of you! Big Hugs!

Santa doesn’t wrap at my house either. I think I’m going to set some stuff up, but leave some in packaging. We’ll see how tired I am after the boy’s bedtime.
It’s so much easier not wrapping. Your Santa should have a revelation(sp?) or something.
