					<description>That is the only thing you CAN say, because I guess you can't promise her that you'll physically be with her forever. But then again, what mother CAN promise that?</description>

					<description>And this is why I could never do what you do.  It is hard enough to teach an abandoned child to trust, but how do you ever do this when you know that they could walk out of your life completely at any time and there is nothing you can do about it?  It’s just a shame that these babies are jerked around the way they are.  Children need so much more from a parent than a genetic connection.  They need stability.  They need permanence.   They need to feel safe.   They need to know that a mommy is forever.  

I truly admire those of you who can nurture these little souls without anything but hope that you will always be able to be there for them.</description>
