   Those poor Cubbies. Even though I am a White Sox person myself… my sympathies are with you!

   I started to email you as soon as the game ended but figured you’d post something soon.

   I’m sorry. I’ve been torn between 3 of the 4 NL teams but hoped down deep that Chicago could pull it out.

   Some of us are not as quick as others, and when we see “heartbroken” on a foster blog our heart sinks into our toes. I am SO GLAD that you are talking about the CUBS and not the bambinos. Relief is what I am feeling right now.

   I am sorry. I was rooting for them since the Cards were out. Who are we going to be for now? Maybe Colorado?

   I’m also disappointed, especially with such a quick exit. Unfortunately, they just did not play well enough to win.

   But here’s the secret: they are waiting til next year so they win the WS on 100th anniversary of the last time they won.
