Weekend blogging and reviewing
Ok, so roll call! Who is reading blogs on Saturday night?? Me!
Comment if you are too so we can all feel less pathetic. Haha. And, what did you have for dinner??
I had shish-ke-bobs. Is that how you spell that? I don’t know. But Bubba only ate rice.
I’m way behind on my reviews. I’ve got several products, multiple books, and some unsolicited reviews like my thoughts on “Meet the Robinsons” that I really need to get to. I’m going to try to knock them all out soon. I’ll be putting all my reviews over on my Typepad blog and letting you know over here when one is up so you can decide whether you want to read it or not. (Please read it. I get my feelings easily hurt. HeeHee)
Go check out what I thought of bamboo washcloths from Baby Dagny.
(P.S. If you are a company with something you’d like me to review, especially a high-priced stroller, a digital camera or video recorder, or some kick-ass clothing…well, you can find my email on my about page. I’m just saying.)

Taking breaks between ancient texts to read some blogs. I had Raisin Bran for dinner. And some leftover macaroni & cheese. Yeah, it’s real fancy cuisine around here.

I am! Of course, that’s mostly because Boyfriend is working the graveyard shift tonight and I had to wait for the complex washing machine (two. for 20 units.) to open up.

Count me in! I’m multi-tasking: watching Battlestar Galactica, organizing digital photos, and reading blogs. We had Hamburger Helper tonight, but at least now I’ve moved past the guilt! (See my blog for the post where I panicked about Hamburger Helper = Terrible Wife and Potential Mommy. LOL)

I’m here. Bowl of soup. Doing some spring cleaning. Hold me back, I’m having too much fun.
April 15th, 2007 at 3:14 am
Count me in! I really should be doing homework, but blogs are so much more exciting. And I had a ham and bean soup that was delish!

I’m here too - you’re the only one of my regulars that bothered to post today! And you’re by far the busiest. We had “leftovers plus black beans in a tortilla” - the leftovers were a pork chop (which was cut up and heated up with the beans, along with leftover corn) and mashed potatoes. Mm-mm good!

The rest of the house is in bed, and I’m chillin’ with my headphones on, and surfin the blogs! We had French Toast for supper, and I snacked on Nachos later…does that make me culturally diverse??

The kids are asleep and my husband is preoccupied with taxes… so, what else is there to do but blog?
I stopped by your blog to ask you to post sometime on my friend Rachel (soon-to be foster parent’s) blog.
Her blog addy is: http://buckeyefostermama.blogspot.com/
I’m a former foster child, but not a foster parent (I have two stepchildren), and I know that Rachel would really appreciate your insights…
Thanks for your time!
Lisa

Usually, I just lurk, but I was reading tonight and thought I’d say hi! and that I enjoy your blog.

I do, and chicken fingers & fries from my freezer.

It’s almost midnight here which means it’s Sunday morning where you are. I’m watching an old Columbo movie.
Dinner? Tonight was leftovers; tomorrow I’ll cook. Our Saturdays are pretty casual now that the girls know how to raid the fridge.
I did do brunch earlier in the day so no one is starving.

I’m sure you’re not 6 hours ahead of me but your comment box says 6:19 a.m. That’s strange and I think it would put you in the middle of the Atlantic ocean.

I read blogs most days. Since you update the most, I tend to read your blog every day. I just rarely have the time to comment. So here’s my hello, and my agreement that the washcloths are very cool.
Take care of yourself!

Not only Saturday night, but this Sunday morning as well. Dinner was Mcdonalds Chicken Nuggets. With Hubby out of town, we went wild!
April 15th, 2007 at 3:30 pm
Yeah, whats up with the time stamp? I’m in CA and it is 8:30am on Sunday. Where in the world is it 3:30? Africa?
April 15th, 2007 at 3:42 pm
Sunday morning here, doing laundry, its rainy and windy and down right yuck! Dinner…..ummm, oh yeah, we had sweet and sour shrimp. Just heat in skillet. Dinner tonight is roast already in crock pot.

I was. Worked from 7 am to 3 pm then spent the rest of the day finishig up my frail elders Final. Eventually I turned it in, read some blogs, and fell asleep watching House.

RE: the time stamp thing on the comments…have you changed your blog time zone in the WordPress Admin? It’s under the Options tab. I think it defaults to UTC time, which like London. If you want it to display for your time zone you have to set it to whatever time zone you’re in. For instance, my time zone, CST, is -5.

I hate to say, I’m rather proud that for once I was not haunting blogs on Saturday night… very rare. I shoved a frozen leek quiche in the oven, put some brown rice on to cook, went to walk the dog and got home in time to make salad and had artsyguy and his daughter over for supper. Painted walls (rather incompatible with blogs) and then went and watched part of Independence Day (which happened to come up on tv, I had vowed never to pay to see it) at his place. There is my wild Sat night.
April 16th, 2007 at 2:35 pm
hmmm, never looked at the time thing before on your comments… I just posted, now, at 10:30 am EST in North America, and your comments say it is 2:30 pm, so a full four hours late for my time zone. cheers

Well, I wasn’t reading Saturday night, but I spent a thrilling Friday night reading blogs while my 11 yo and 5 friends had a sleepover. Thus Sat night, I went to bed early to try to catch up on my sleep. Dinner has been leftovers lately.
