Thursday Thirteen
1. It is huge. My house is barely 1100 sq feet now, this one is 3500 sq feet.
2. And the BDH only costs $800..I’m paying $450 now.
3. It has a dishwasher!
4. And a screened in porch so I can sit outside and watch Bug play.
5. I could easily fit three more girls in there. You know. Just in case I happened to get picked to raise three more girls.
6. It is by a huge park where they play softball and baseball and you can walk and ride bikes.
7. And it is by a lake and a river, so its really pretty.
8. There are three bathrooms! Three!!!
9. There are built in shelves in the closet in my room.
10. There is actually enough cabinet space to put all my dishes and pots and pans. Right now I have to store them in storage containers.
11. And it has a big old walk in pantry, so I can buy more than one week of food at a time.
12. And a laundry room! So my dryer does not have to be in my kitchen.
13. I can finally be proud of my home.

I’m jealous! The house I have now isn’t any bigger than your current one, and I’m a lot more than what you will pay for your new place.

That house sounds great. Though I think…. dang, I have a hard enough time cleaning one bathroom, let alone THREE!!

WOW! I’m jealous too! I don’t know if it’s the bathrooms or the scenery you describe…. and shelves in the closet… it’s those shelves that really push it over!

That’s about how our move went too…we had a tiny 2 bedroom duplex for $450 a month. Now we have a big 3 bedroom with 2 baths, finally a dishwasher, a real laundry room…it’s so much better and it really helps to keep your moods higher when you like where you are!

And living by a lake and a river is nice. I live by a river too and it’s nice to hop in the car and be about 10 minutes away.
